Known as an aphrodisiac and general tonic, this oil is also known for its help in cases of motion sickness. Its delicious spicy scent of fresh ginger is a treat, and it works wonders in the kitchen to flavor dishes.

Process of obtaining

Complete distillation by steam distillation. Part of the plant used: Fresh rhizomes (roots) of Botanical name: Zingiber officinalis, Botanical family Zingiberaceae

Precautions

  • Avoid during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
  • Possible skin irritation, always dilute well for skin application.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Some natural compounds contained in this essential oil may present a risk of allergy in certain sensitive people when the essential oil is incorporated into a cosmetic composition: limonene, linalool, citral (geranial and neral), geraniol.

As a general rule, always do a test application of your preparation, in the crease of the elbow, at least 48 hours before using it.
