Star Anise Essential Oil

Star anise essential oil, also known by the scientific name Illicium verum, is extracted from the Magnoliaceae family.
 This oil acts on the respiratory system and the central nervous system (it is one of the best general tonics of the body.) as well as on the hormonal system (it is known for its estrogenic properties.). For problems of colic, flatulence and constipation, compresses can be made and applied to the stomach. A few drops on a compress should be enough.
 Star Anise essential oil is known for these properties:
 Digestive and intestinal problems
 Antispasmodic
 Expectorant
 Invigorating and stimulating.
 As a general rule, always do a test application of your preparation, in the crease of the elbow, at least 48 hours before using it.
